Everything about Rajasthan fascinates from miles of golden sand to the magnificient forts, opulent palaces and marvellous havelis, each a splendid architectural creations having a legend of its own. The magnificent Jai Mahal Palace, the idyllic Lake Palace and the secluded Mandawa Castle are just some of the regal settings in which you will be treated like a maharaja. The forts at Jodhpur and Chittor encapsulate the romance and chivalry of India's powerful Rajput Kings, while at the ancient capital of Amber an ascent on elephant-back recreates the majesty of a bygone era.


DAY 01 - DELHI
Arrive Delhi and transfer to your hotel. Afternoon proceed for city tour of Old Delhi and New Delhi. Delhi is a major travel gateway to India. The city consists of two parts namely New Delhi and Old Delhi. Old and New Delhi present a stunning juxtaposition of sights and sounds with the ancient city built by Emperor Shah Jahan the builder of the famous Taj Mahal, and the new garden city built in 1911 by the British.

DAY 02 - DELHI / BIKANER
Morning drive to Bikaner - The royal fortified city. Lying in the north of the desert state. More popularly called the camel country, the city is renowned for the best riding camels in the world. Undulating lanes, colorful bazars and bright cheerful folks make Bikaner an interesting experience.

DAY 03 - BIKANER / JAISALMER
You will depart today by road for Jaisalmer.
Rising from the heart of the Thar desert like a golden mirage is the city of Jaisalmer. On arrival check into your hotel.

Enjoy on Golden Sand DAY 04 - JAISALMER
After breakfast walk around the old city of Jaisalmer. After lunch venture into the inhospitable Thar Desert, where there is an opportunity to take short camel ride and view the sunset.

DAY 05 - JAISALMER / JODHPUR
Morning at leisure. Leave for the imperial city of Jodhpur by road. Late afternoon check in to the hotel.

DAY 06 - JODHPUR
Morning visit the most impressive Meherangarh Fort. Within the fort are some palaces with marvellously carved pannels, latticed windows and evocative names - Moti Mahal, The Phool Mahal, The Sheesh Mahal, The Sileh Khana and The Daulat Khana. Afternoon there is an opportunity to explore the bazaars of the old town or take a jeep safari to the surrounding villages and countryside.

DAY 07 - JODHPUR / UDAIPUR
Drive to Udaipur - the city of dawn via the Jain temples at Ranakpur. Check in to your hote at Udaipur.

DAY 08 - UDAIPUR
Morning at leisure. You can take a cruise around Lake Pichola. A short tour of the City Palace awaits you in the afternoon. A majestic architectural marvel towering over the lake on a hill surrounded by crenallated walls, it is a conglomeration of courtyards, pavilions, terraces, corridors, rooms and hanging gardens.

DAY 09 - UDAIPUR / JAIPUR
Morning take a flight to Jaipur - The Pink city. Transfer to Hotel. After lunch, visit the City Palace in the heart of the old city, the former royal residence built in a blend of the Rajasthani and Mughal styles. And Jantar Mantar a stone observatory.

Feel like Maharaja on ElephantDAY 10 - JAIPUR
Morning visit the Amber Fort pausing en route to see the 'Palace of the winds'. Ascend the fort on elephant-back. In the afternoon you can visit Jaipur's colourful bazaars where one can shop for Rajasthani handlooms and trinkets.

DAY 11 - JAIPUR / AGRA
Depart Jaipur the land of the Rajputs to the Mughal splendour of Agra, enroute visiting Fathepur Sikri the ghost city 35 kms from Agra. On arrival check into your hotel.

DAY 12 - AGRA / DELHI
Morning visit the Taj Mahal, the marble memorial of an emperor's love (closed on Mondays). This monument is a fine example of fusion of many architectural styles is one of the wonders of the modern world. Also visit the Agra Fort and the tomb of Itmad-ud-Daulah. Afternoon drive back to Delhi enroute visit Akbar's tomb at Sikandra. On arrival check into your hotel.

DAY 13 - DELHI
Return flight to onward destination.
