DAY
01 : DELHI - AGRA (200 Kms.) 
0530 hrs. - Assemble at College
0600 hrs. - Departure for Agra
Arrive
Agra & Check-in at Hotel. Morning we start our tour of Agra
the visit to sandstone Agra Fort which stands like a crescent
on the Jamuna River. Agra Fort was built over time by three
Moghul emperors - Akbar, Jehangir and Shah Jehan. It was at
this fort that Shah Jehan was imprisoned by his son in the
later years of his life to prevent him from spending the family
fortunes on a black echo of the Taj Mahal. One can make a
brief visit to Sikandra the tomb of the Mughal Emperor Akbar,
a magnificent garden tomb. After lunch our next stop is to
the Taj Mahal. Built by Shah Jehan as a mausoleum for his
favourite wife, Mumtaz Mahal, the Taj is built of white marble,
beautifully carved and inlaid with semi-precious stones. We
cover this massive site leisurely. Evening is free for shopping
or visit local market. Overnight at Hotel.
DAY
02 : AGRA - FATEHPUR SIKRI - BHARATPUR - JAIPUR (230
Kms.)
After
early breakfast we leave for an interesting countryside drive,
which gets us to Fatehpur Sikri, the beautiful capital built
in 1640 by the Moghul King, Akbar the Great and later abandoned
for lack of water. A superb example of Moghul architecture,
it stands perfectly preserved in the desert. The marble tomb
of the sheikh intricately done in marble lies in the courtyard
of Jama Masjid still visited by thousands to seek blessings.
Buland Daraza was added by Akbar in front of the tomb. We
continue our journey to Bharatpur Bird Sanctuary (Keoladeo
Ghana National Park). Highlight of this sanctuary is the annual
visit by Siberian Cranes in winter months. It is also house
to great variety of resident species of birds and is considered
as the ornithologist's paradise. Bharatpur is better known
today for one of the finest
water bird sanctuaries in the world and is spread
on 40 sq km area of swampy, lightly wooded terrain. Best season
for bird watching - from October to January. After lunch drive
to Jaipur, also know as Pink City. A royal experience awaits
us at the intriguing Amber Palace, a distinguished example
of 17th Century Rajput architecture. After the tour and enjoying
a panoramic view, we check in to our Hotel. Overnight at Hotel.
DAY
03 : JAIPUR
After breakfast, we start our sightseeing tour of Jaipur.
We start with old astronomical observatory built by the founder
of the city, Jai Singh. We also visit the majestic Palace,
which houses a rare collection of Indian art, and the colourful
bazaar. Jaipur is noted for its craftsmen, skilled in brass
inlay, lacquer work and stone setting. Most of the buildings
in the old city are made of pink sandstone and one of the
most beautiful is Hawa Mahal, Palace of Winds, where the ladies
of the royal harem used to watch the city from behind the
intricately carved facade. Overnight at Hotel.
DAY
04 : JAIPUR - SARISKA (109 Kms.)
After breakfast, morning is free to enjoy both shopping and
a cultural experience in the bazaars of Jaipur. Don't forget
to carry your camera. After lunch leave for Sariska National
Park. Evening free to enjoy your stay surrounded by Jungle.
DAY
05 : SARISKA - DELHI (208 Kms.)
After
breakfast take early morning Jungle Safari. The area spans
765.80 sq.km of dry deciduous forests of the Aravalli range
and is an
excellent tiger country. Sariska was once the royal reserve
of the rulers of Alwar. Declared a sanctuary in 1955, it became
a tiger reserve in 1979 under Project Tiger. Main species
found: Tiger, panther, hyena, jungle cat, civet, sambar, nilgai,
chowsingha, dhole(wild dog), wild boar, partridge, green pigeon,
red spurfowl, etc. Drive back to Delhi. Lunch on the way to
Delhi or at Sariska itself, depending on time.
